2 Cups Flower
4 Tsp Baking powder
1/2 Tsp Salt
1 Tsp Sugar
1 Tsp Cream of Tarter
1/2 Cup shortening ( butter works too)
2/3cup whole milk ( I used 2% and it was fine)
1/4 Cup butter, melted
1/3 Cup honey
Pre Heat oven to 450*F
Mix Flower, Baking powder< salt, sugar, and cream of tarter in a medium bowl
Work the shortening into the flower mixture with your fingers till it is well mixed ( should feel kinda like corn meal)
Pour in milk and mix well
Turn out on a lightly flowered surface and knead dough about 12-15 times
Make dough into two inch balls and place on a cookie sheet (or you can put them in a muffin pan)
Brush balls lightly with butter and place in oven. Cook for 10-12 Min or until golden brown.
Mean while melt remaining butter and honey and set aside.
When biscuits are done immediately brush with honey butter.
( I took a tooth pic and poked holes in the biscuits and let some of the honey butter soak in)
